I looked over the read me for qwitter to get help with qwitter and well, the instructions wasn't clear enough to me. I went and signed up for solona and even logged in to solona with qwitter and I don't see how it's suppose to work. From what I read when you hit ctrl, win, and left arrow it's suppose to be there, but I'm not finding it. When I hit the command to see if solona's responding the way it's suppose too, I'm still not seeing it. What am I doing wrong? How could this be fixed? Is it my computer or is it simply I just absolutely suck at these things and need to leave it alone? If this involves to much information pm me and send me some instructions etc.
Now my other problem is:
I was told with Jaws you can just hit windows j and that command isn't working when I'm anywhere on my computer. Do I have to do it when I first log on to my computer, which I don't need it then because it comes on automatically. When a sighted person uses it they want jaws off...then they have to turn it back on, how can I do this from anywhere on my computer?
Hope my descriptions didn't confuse you and thanks much.
All right, the first thing, I'm going to give you these instructions assuming you don't all ready have your solona session open on Qwitter.
1. Press control windowns shift n, this will bring up your "New session dialogue."
Select "Solona" from the list and press tab. You should be prompted for a name. Name the session whatever you'd like and hit enter.
Next, you will be prompted for your log in information for Solona. Enter it acordingly and press enter. Obviously, if you don't have a solona account then you'll have to make one.
2. Now that you've opened up your session, you cycle between sessions by pressing control windows shift left and right arrows. Note the distinction, control windows shift left and right arrow navigates your sessions, while control windows left and right arrows navigate the buffers for the session you are currently in.
For Jaws, if you want to shut Jaws down from anywhere on your computer, press Jaws key and f4. Not too sure about starting it up again, I don't use it anymore so I couldn't tell you. Don't remember if you could configure a Jaws hot key. What I would do to start it up is make sure it was the only shortcut in my desktop that started with J and just hit windows M to bring up my desktop, then press j for Jaws and there we go.
Hope this helps, and hope I understood your questions correctly. :)
for creating a shortcut for your jaws, just select jaws in your desktop, hit alt enter for properties and then tab until you reach shortcut key. hit the key you wanted to have as a shortcut for opening it, and tab around and hit ok. if you want j for an example to open jaws, hit j and give ok. but you have to hit alt plus control plus j for opening jaws.
hope this helps.
Raaj.
a note, to launch jaws depending on what version you have you can use the run dialog to launch it. for example. with jaws 10, you'd press windows r for the run dialog, type jaws10 and press enter. that will launch jaws as well.

Okay, will do and I'll add you now and then you can follow me back...thanks to all who's posted here, I think I was missing the windows m part.
